United States Attorney Brendan V. Johnson announced that a Bismarck, North Dakota, man has been indicted by a federal grand jury for Interstate Transportation of Stolen Vehicle and Larceny.
Tyrell Running Bear, age 18, was indicted by a federal grand jury on December 14, 2011. He appeared before United States Magistrate Judge Mark A. Moreno on January 4, 2012, and pled not guilty to the indictment. The maximum penalty upon conviction is 10 years in custody, a $250,000 fine, or both. The charges relate to an allegation that the defendant stole a vehicle in Bismarck, North Dakota, and drove it to Eagle Butte.
